Permit Technician


The Town of Friday Harbor is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Permit Technician and Land Use Assistant (PT) in the Community Development and Planning Department (CDPD). This position will remain open until filled with the first review of applications on or about January 20, 2017.

Job Description


The PT is the receptionist, customer service representative, permit technician, and land use and building assistant for CDPD. The PT is responsible for performing varied and moderately diverse office support and administrative duties. The PT position is distinguished by the requirement to understand the interrelationship of procedures and IBC, IRC, IMC, IFC, IPC, Municipal Codes, RCWs, and WACs associated with the work.

Salary


Pay range is approximately $20.04 to $22.21 per hour depending on experience.
