A REQUEST FOR COMMENTS, SUGGESTIONS, AND/OR AMENDMENTS TO THE TOWN OF FRIDAY HARBOR’S 2018 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AND LAND USE REGULATIONS
The Town of Friday Harbor is inviting comments, suggestions, and/or proposed amendments to its 2018 Comprehensive Plan and Land Use Regulations for the 2021 amendment cycle.
Pursuant to RCW 36.70A and “Chapter 8 – Administration” of the adopted Comprehensive Plan policies, the Town solicits comments, suggestions, and/or proposed amendments to the 2018 Comprehensive Plan and Land Use Regulations. Subsequent to the comment period, the Planning Commission will review the comments, suggestions, and/or proposed amendments in their entirety. Following work sessions and a required public hearing, the Planning Commission will forward their recommendations to the Friday Harbor Town Council for consideration and subsequent action.
The comment period closes December 31, 2020.
All comments, suggestions, and/or proposed technical amendments should be in writing on forms provided by the Town, delivered to the Community Development Department, and date-stamped upon delivery to the Town. You may request forms at the Town of Friday Harbor’s Community Development Department (60 Second St. S.), obtain the “Request for Changes to Comprehensive Plan & Land Use Regulations” online, or mail a request for forms to: Town of Friday Harbor, Community Development Department, P.O.
