Boards and Commissions assist and advise the Town Council and staff. The Town is always looking for people interested in serving the community through board membership.
Although there is no monetary compensation associated with serving on a board or commission, your participation will provide for a better form of government.

Friday Harbor Arts Commission
The Friday Harbor Arts Commission (FHAC) exists to support excellence, vitality, diversity, and accessibility of the arts as essential to the quality of life and cultural enrichment for town residents and visitors.

Historic Preservation Review Board
The HPRB considers and recommends measures and incentives to encourage and foster preservation of historic structures, sites, or districts and conducts design review for construction projects in the Historic District.
