The month-long maintenance and improvement of Sunken Park was completed June 25. Work included replacing the boardwalk, handrails, and fencing as well as refreshing the gazebo, and resetting brick in the barbecue area. “The Town was awarded grant funding from the state Recreation and Conservation Office for this much-needed deferred maintenance,” explained Town Administrator Denice Kulseth, adding that the Town appreciated the public’s patience during this project and the quality of work completed by Richard Lawson Construction, Inc. “We encourage residents to visit this popular town park to see the improvements that have been made," said Kulseth.
