Directions to the Washington State Ferries Anacortes Terminal

If you are coming by car and Washington State Ferry, the mainland terminal which serves Friday Harbor is located in Anacortes, Washington, 80 miles northwest of Seattle.  Ferry reservations are highly recommended.

Driving Directions

If you are coming from the south, follow I-5 north from Seattle, take Exit 230 to Highway 20, and Highway 20 to Anacortes. If you are coming from the north, follow I-5 south from Bellingham, take Exit 230 to Highway 20, and Highway 20 to Anacortes. Once you are in Anacortes, turn left on 12th Street (opposite Safeway), then follow the signs to the ferry terminal and ticketing booths.
